Wilfried Nancy declared he did not fear the sack, asserting, “We are extremely close to a turnaround,” despite edging perilously close to the chopping block with a comprehensive setback against Rangers.

The coach highlights the fact Celtic can perform strongly for a half at a time. “The level we had at certain moments was of top quality. That is a fact. And I would not say that if it was different. Therefore, regarding outcomes, I said we've seen this before. That’s why I said that we are nearly there to getting it right. But for the moment: small things.”
“I saw plenty of positives that we did, like today again. But now it’s about performing for 90 minutes. My message would be different if I didn't believe it. This is why I am a big believer we’re going to be able to fix this.”
Opposition Reaction Outlook
Danny Röhl played down talk of a serious challenge despite what felt like a statement victory. “We take it game by game, so we can develop something here,” he said. “The confidence in the squad is immense.”
