The Blues head coach Enzo Maresca announced on Friday that Cole Palmer is set to return for the squad's vital top-flight fixture against local rivals Arsenal.

The young English midfielder had been sidelined due to a broken toe suffered after an accidental occurrence.

“He is fit to begin and feature,” Maresca said. “All involved are pleased.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has made only four appearances across all competitions, scoring twice.
