However the latest Battlefield is hoping to alter that.

It's the newest release in a long-standing combat FPS series often positioned as a more authentic answer to its main competitor.

The franchise has not quite managed to equal its top opponent in aspects of revenue or players, but evidence points to the new installment could narrow the difference.

An early access session allowing users a chance to try out the game earlier this year achieved milestones, and the buzz approaching its launch has been massive.

But the undertaking is still a significant risk for publisher its creators, which has according to sources spent hundreds of millions of funds developing it.

Our team has talked to some of the makers to find out how they hope it will succeed.

Development Group and Company Partnership

Several teams have been developing the game under the collaborative umbrella.

They include veteran developer the original team, headquartered in Sweden, California's Motive Studios and Ripple Effect in Canada.

Another, Criterion, is based in England.

Learning From Earlier Errors

The new release follows the back of the futuristic Battlefield 2042, released four years ago to a unfavorable response it had difficulty to bounce back from.

"It's likely that we couldn't make and develop the latest entry lacking the lessons we acquired in the previous title," she explains to the press.

Among those takeaways was to engage players involved from the start, and the studio initiated exclusive fan trials not long ago.

Their "feedback was incredibly encouraging," says she.

Another absent component from Battlefield 2042 was a single-player campaign, which has been restored for this release.

The UK studio creative lead Fas Salim is the one in charge of "ensuring those levels are as fun and compelling as feasible for the gamers."

Regardless of claims that the scope of the game had created pressure for the various developers partnering globally to build the project, the director is upbeat about the work.

"Collaborating with varied backgrounds, different experiences, it's a truly fascinating atmosphere to be part of daily," he shares.

"The complete approach has been a fresh take but additionally very thrilling because we are collaborating with people from internationally."

Concerning the pressure on the developers, Fas comments: "There is demand but at the same time it's thrilling.

"This is a major project. It's likely the most significant that many of us have before been involved in."

Young Talent Adds Fresh View

That's certainly correct of no less than a single team member, lighting artist the artist.

The recent hire produces the visual ambiance that shape the mood, feel, and narrative of the solo experience.

"To know that I have contributed my individual work into the title is very surreal."

Release Predictions and Future Plans

The new game's release is projected to be a major event, with observers forecasting it could sell up to five millions {copies|units|versions
