The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.

"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
